# Lemon Squeezy

> Connect Lemon Squeezy for Customers and the revenue of Analytics, and choose one store.

Connect Lemon Squeezy so that Customers shows who pays you, what each one pays and who is about to leave. Analytics then
ties orders and renewals to the visits behind them, and shows MRR. Troopy never changes anything in Lemon Squeezy.

## Before you begin

Owners and admins connect, replace and disconnect a service.

## What Troopy reads, and for what

| Product | What it reads |
| --------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Customers | Each subscription with its customer, and the payments. A read each hour. |
| Analytics | New orders and renewals every 5 minutes, and MRR. |

Lemon Squeezy answers disputes itself, and its API reports none. Troopy shows no dispute of Lemon Squeezy.

## Connect Lemon Squeezy

1. Open **Settings** > **Apps**, and select the tile of Lemon Squeezy. Its card opens.
2. Select **Create the key in Lemon Squeezy**.
3. Under **Settings** > **API** of Lemon Squeezy, add a key named Troopy, and copy it.
4. Paste it into the card, and select **Connect Lemon Squeezy**.

A key from test mode reads test orders. Troopy reads every store of the account. To read one store only, connect through
the API: `POST /apps/lemonsqueezy` with the id of the store as `scope`. See [API reference](/docs/api).

## Replace or disconnect

- **Replace key** puts a new key in the place of the old one.
- **Disconnect** removes the key. Customers takes the subscriptions of Lemon Squeezy off its customers.

Lemon Squeezy gives no time for a cancel request. Customers keeps the time when it first saw the request.
