# Google Search Console

> Sign in with Google so that Analytics shows the searches that bring people to your website.

Connect Google Search Console so that Analytics shows the Google searches that bring visitors. It shows the clicks,
impressions, CTR and position of each search, and the revenue that each one likely brought. Troopy only reads.

## Before you begin

- Owners and admins connect and disconnect a service.
- A Google account that owns or fully uses the property of your site in Search Console.
- Analytics set up with your website. See [Set up website analytics](/docs/analytics).

## Connect Search Console

1. Open **Settings** > **Apps**, and select the tile of Search Console. Its card opens.
2. Select **Connect Search Console**, and sign in with Google.
3. Allow Troopy to read Search Console.
4. Google sends you back. The card says "Search Console is connected. Its keywords show in Analytics, under Sources."

Troopy keeps each property of the account, and picks the property that covers your website.

### Choose the property

When no property matches your website by itself, the card says so. Choose the property to read on the card. You can
change it later.

## What Analytics shows

The **Keyword** tab of Analytics, under Sources, shows each search with its clicks, impressions, CTR and position.

- Troopy estimates the revenue of a search. It splits the revenue of each page from Google by the clicks of each search.
- Troopy keeps the numbers of Search Console for one hour.
- The tab says what waits: the settings of the server, a property to choose, or the first data.

The Growth analyst reads the same keywords with its tools.

## Disconnect

Select **Disconnect** on the card. The **Keyword** tab of Analytics then has no data.
