Google Docs
Import a Google Doc as a doc or an interview, with the picker of Google.
You can import a Google Doc into Troopy as a doc or an interview. You pick the doc in the picker of Google, and Troopy copies it. Nothing stays connected.
Before you begin
- People who have Docs import into Docs. People who have Interviews import into Interviews.
- A Google account that can open the doc.
Import a Google Doc
- Open Docs or Interviews, and select Import.
- Pick Google Docs, then select Choose from Google Drive.
- Sign in with Google if Google asks, and allow the access.
- Pick the docs in the picker of Google, and confirm.
The doc imports with its text and its images. A doc imports one time.
What Troopy keeps
- The picker gives Troopy access to the files that you pick only.
- Troopy uses that access one time, for the import, and never keeps it.
- The doc in Troopy is a copy. A change in Google Docs after the import does not reach it.
